Pres Hinckley was more than just my prophet - he was a friend of my parents, he married my wife and I on his 65th birthday and he spoke at my mom's funeral. He was an incredible man and a tremendous example to all of us - his love of life, his love of his wife, and his love of the gospel are things we should emulate. Also, his sense of humor showed that we can have fun being Mormons. I will miss him!

My sadness at his passing is softened by thinking of his reunion with Sister Hinckley and his greetings from Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father.

This evening the world has lost its most shining star. Thank you President, for leaving us with so many priceless words of counsel. You richly deserve the reunion with your sweet Marjorie Pay, and I am confident that your Lord and Savior will proclaim, "well done, my good and faithful servant."

B Herbert

My absolute hero. I want to be just like him.

Isn't it wonderfl knowing The Plan of Happiness? I'm happy for Pres. Hinckley to be with this wife again!! For death is part of this plan, it's an important part but a part that all of us will go through. The thing I'm greatful is the life pres. Hinkley lived as a model for us to falo.

President Hinkley inspired us all. What a great leader he was! I hope his example and legacy of love and service will prod everyone who has heard his voice to become better friends, better neighbors and more devoted family members.

Thankfully, the world has been sprinkled with great and loving men such as he was and is. Though he will be greatly missed here. The reunion in heaven, in his honor, will and must be very joyous and loving.
The world may never know of all the good and love he shared with us. Thanks be to him.

I was so very luck to feel his love at this last GC. To feel the spirit when he walked into the room was amazing. I am so happy for him and his wife and that they will be together for eternity now. He always talked about how he could not wait to be with her again and now he will. He was the most amazing man for the church. He did so much for so many people. He truly was the most amazing man and did all in his power to help people in need. He will be missed but will love with us forever.

We ever pray for thee, our prophet dear,
That God will give to thee comfort and cheer;
As the advancing years furrow thy brow,
Still may the light within shine bright as now.

Thank you, President Hinckley, for shining your light upon us.
With profound gratitude and love,
~Marguerite L. Morris~

President Hinckley gave us great hope in a troubled world and his life was a testament that good can endure to the end. As a true disciple of Jesus Christ he has now moved on to his next phase in life and this is a cause of celebration, he having fought the good fight until the end!

Because of this great man our lives have been changed for good. We have been sweetly uplifted, directed and lead by his loving kindness and amazing wisdom. May all the good that he represented be remembered and honored. He tirelessly served God with all of his heart to the wearing out of his life. The Perpetual Education Fund has lifted the lives of impoverished people throughout the world. Humanitarian aid in the form of physical, educational and spiritual relief has multiplied dramatically; given freely and without fanfare. Temples providing saving ordinances have been built throughout the world to bless the lives of millions. He was a true Christian, always pointing to the Savior and never to himself. We will miss him dearly.

I marvel how much a man can accomplish and sustain ... a visionary man ... a man lead by God and by his own good choices in life. I'm happy that he can be with his wife forever and continue in the work in heaven. I thank him for all he has done for me and my family and our country and the world. I will never forget the look on my children's eyes knowing he is a prophet, and speaks the words of God, even though they have left the church. They can not deny that fact. Bless his family. Thank you for sharing him with us.

We were saddened to hear the news of the passing of our beloved prophet, President Hinckley. What an incredibly amazing leader we have been blessed with these many years. His wit and sense of humor will be sorely missed. The growth the church has experienced during his leadership is nothing short of modern day miracles. As the word of his passing reached us, our family all shared our testimonies of the gospel and especially of eternal marriage. How great the joy he is feeling right now as he is once again with his beloved Marjorie. Our prayers are with the entire Hinckley family. We love you President Hinckley!

We collectively echo the words of praise for President Hinkley!! He was truly a marvelous Prophet!! We will miss his humor, his excitement for the Lord's work, and his vision of the future that he has possessed from day one. Since he became Prophet, the Church has seen a growth period like none other. He leaves behind HUGE shoes to fill. But we are confident his passing will not slow the work, growth and progress of the Church. Now he may enjoy being with his sweetheart once again, and watch from the Heavens as the Church rolls on!!

We will miss you President Hinkley!! God be with you till we meet again!

His burdens were heavy, his lonliness deep. But President Hinckley never gave up. He lived with courage, honor and dignity to the end. God bless his memory.

My mom is 58 years old. She went through the temple for the first time in her life on Dec 28th. She loved President Hinckleys teachings. Thank you for helping her President Hinckley!!! I wish I could witness the welcoming you get from our father in heaven, and his son! I hope to meet you when my time is done!!!!
