Thank you, President Hinckley for your wonderful guidance, your Christlike love,
your optimism, your incredible lifelong example of what a Christian truly is!
What a priviledge it has been to know you, one of the "Great and
Noble" of Heavenly Father's children! Until we meet again with those
who love in faith and truth in worlds without end, may you and your family be
eternally blessed! You will be greatly missed! Now we need to "forget
ourselves and go to work!"

My Prophet, My Prophet Father...I am so deeply grateful for him. He has endured
and now has his reward. He is welcomed home by his beloved wife. Loss and sorrow
fill me, yet I rejoice for him. All is well, all is well. The Gospel of Jesus

This is sad for us, but is a happy moment for our beloved prophet as he reunites
with his beautiful wife, Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and many others. I
will always cherish his sweet spirit and will remember the love he had for ALL
of us for the rest of my life. What a remarkable man, leader, husband, father
and friend. I hope and pray that we can all strive to emulate his teachings and
compassion for the gospel of Jesus Christ.

President Hinckley was the Prophet of God. I had the chance to personally hear
him speak on several occasions, from Ricks College, to a Mission Conference, to
General Conference. What memorable opportunitites those were. Lets go forward
with Faith, just as he has gone forward into the next life!

When President Hinckley was sustained as President of the Church, the Spirit
bore powerful witness to me that he was a prophet of the Lord. That distinct
witness has stayed with me ever since.
Mere words could never express the feelings of my heart this morning. He has impacted my life, and the lives of so many others, for incalculable good. This disciple of Jesus will be dearly missed!

President Hinckley will be missed by all. The world has lost a great prophet
and example, yet we look forward to following the next prophet with the same
dedicationto move the work forward. Best wishes to the Hinkley family, you are

President Hinckley was solid as a rock in these times of uncertainty and I will
miss his smile and his wonderful sence of humor. My testimony and my faith are
stronger as I have listened and learned from the council he has given the church
and the world. Thank you for inspiring me to be a better person and to love
others as Christ loves them. We will meet again, until then have a wonderful
reunion with your family, loved ones and our Savior.

My wife and I are saddened by his death. But death is part of life, part of that
wonderful plan.
We will always remember his leadership, the principles taught and emphasized, and the joy he brought in our lives. He helped us to draw ourselves much closer to God. My wife and I will also remember how he made us smile during conferences.We know that he is now with his wife, reunited happily again.

President Hinckley was a great leader. He taught us so many things. He also
was a great example of spirituality with a sense of humor. He was a prophet for
our time. God be with you 'til we meet again.

In my life time, I have never met a man that has touched my life as much as he
touched mine with his words of wisdom, his amazing sense of humor, his
compassion for the peoples of the World. How great shall be your joy President

In the world we live in, our faith is always being questioned. If only our
critics could see the love that WE ALL have, maybe they could understand us a
little better. Please, don't ever forget this love. Your comments brought

We have fond memories of President Hinckley's visit to Chicago. His mark on
the church and the world still will be evident decades from now. He was a man
unafraid to say what God wanted him to. Bless him for that.

I am sad to see him pass to the next station of life yet I celebrate his life
and know that he is still involved with the preparation of the return of the
Savior. We will see him again I'm certain.

He was such a kind person and great example. He made me feel like he was my own
Grandpa giving freely of his wisdom and insight. He always made me feel loved.

My life has been strengthened so much by President Hinckley's courage,
faith, love, humor and example. I am thankful he is with Marjorie again and all
the others he will be meeting. I also feel close to him. He has helped our
family to carry on and stand a little taller. It is a truly a prophet.

We are saddened at the news of Pres. Hinckley's death. Our father knew him
personally and played with him as a child. What a wonderfull life he led and

It is hard to be sad when talking about a caliber of man who blessed our lives
so much as he is among many other great leaders of the Church. The Savior lives
and is truly the Head of the Church. However, President Hinckley will be missed
here and will forever be remembered as an inspiring example of someone who
exercised extraordinary faith.

Sad new for us but I can only imagine the applause on the other side. I am sure
that so many were as happy to see him again as we were sad to lose him. He will
be missed.

I was baptized into The Church on January 15, 1995, so Howard W. Hunter was my
first Prophet, but given the fact that he died so soon after I was baptized I
never really "got to know him" very well. It was different with
President Hinckley. He's been the Prophet my entire marriage, and during
all of my children's lives. Ever since I heard of his passing "Til We
Meet Again" has been playing over and over in my head, and it's so
appropriate given the plan of salvation that all LDS share we will all be
together again one day. I'm sure that he and Sister Hinckley are rejoicing
in their reunion today. We love you President Hinckley and we'll miss your
sweet disposition dearly.

What an incredible man and prophet of God! You are so loved and will be missed
by so many of us President Hinckley! Thank you for all you did and the counsel
that you gave us while you were here on this earth - may we live worthy and
remember your words. I can only imagine the welcome home you are receiving from

Last night Heaven became a more beautiful place. I am so happy to think that
he's reunited with his wife again. He missed her so much. I will miss
President Hinckley!! It makes me sad to think we'll never again hear one
of your wonderful talks. Well, at least not in this life...

We will greatly miss President Hinckley. We have loved and revered him as a
prophet of God. His leadership has richly blessed our family here in Middle
Tennessee.

President Hinckley was the prophet of my transition from youth to adulthood.
I'll always remember the love I felt every time I heard him speak. His
love of the Savior and love of the church members are his greatest legacy. He
never wanted acclaim or reward. He sincerely loved all the taught and served.
How I miss him and wish to emulate his service.
I remember his sermon at the 2004 General RSMeeting. He said, "Until I got older I never dreamed of what a demanding responsibility it is to keep food in the pantry, to keep clothing neat and presentable, to buy all that is needed to keep a home running. I see their [his granddaughter's] husbands, and I feel like saying to them: 'Do you know how much she does?' Well, you dear women, I say thanks to you. Thank you for being the kind of people you are and doing the things you do."
I've always remembered that comment and if I ever felt overwhelmed by the many responsibilities of a Mother I'd say to myself, "President Hinckley thanks me. He appreciates that work I do." And I would feel better. Thank you President Hinckley.

I met him once in Pusan, Korea when I was a culture- shocked, bewildered new
missionary. His upbeat, down-to-earth demeanor gave me a tremendous lift that
has stayed with me since that day in 1975. I feel as if I have lost a true
friend.
