I find this a typical rendition by many Mormons about other faiths. They ridicule in a joking manor about someone's faith without even knowing what they are talking about. Mormons complain that other faiths mis-represent their faith but this article is a clear example of mis-representation of Huckabee's faith.
The teachings of Catholicism is a far cry from those of Evangelical Christianity. Huckabee is a Evangelical Christian not a Catholic! Brain Schott's comments only shows his ignorance about Evangelical Christianity and his intensions to smear Christianity as a whole.

If a radio station had said something this offensive in a joking manor about Gordan B. Hinckley, all hell would brake loose with remarks from LDS people about all the anti-mormons and their bigotted comments and how persecuted they are.

Robert, I believe your comment is misguided. You seem overly anxious to express a critique of Mormons. This article actually makes it clear that Huckabee is an Evangelical and not a Catholic. The article is about the response of Catholics to the joke. You should read more carefully before ranting.
And just so you know, I am not a Mormon being reactionary after reading your critique. I am in fact the Atheist comedian from the Coexist Comedy tour mentioned in the article.

Plus why blame the Mormon? The Catholic host of the comedy show took responsibility for it.
