Go for it! Nail this creep!

Stand Up

How did this guy get through lawschool and no wonder he chose the field he did. Go get him. Get him off the street!

convenient

That the husband is an attorney and representing his wife, the victim... No appearance of any conflicts here right. I wonder if the marital privilege supersedes the attorney client privilege...

Simple thoughts

The lawyer is in the wrong? for filing suit against a sexual pervert in a power position?
Absolutely not! I am stunned that the doctor only received 5 years of prison for his actions. Surprisingly, he will probably be able to reestablish his medical practice when he is out of prison. Disgusting.

To: simple thoughts

The lawyer is the husband. It does not look right and the court system needs impartiality so that the closest thing to the truth can come out. He should not represent his wife, but get her a competent attorney. The DA is responsible for the criminal charges.

Sorry, this sounds fishy

If she was CLEARLY sexually abused 2 full years before any other witnesses came forward, then she should have come forward at the time of the abuse. That was nice of her to keep it to herself and allow for a dozen or so other women to be violated as well. For her to come forward now - not having involved herself in the criminal trial - just makes it look like she and her lawyer husband smelled an opportunity to make some good money. Even if she was abused - she shouldn't be rewarded for letting others unknowingly endanger themselves.
