This is BY FAR the best missionary movie produced to date! Finally! A film about missionaries that is true to the experience. The film was honest and wonderfully acted. The writing was also excellent. It's about time a film about missionaries was produced that can be shown to prospective missionaries, returned missionaries, members of the LDS church, and non-LDS folks. It's suited for everyone. Even though the film is about a specific experience, it touches on important qualities and principles that are truly universal. In my opinion, this is a must have movie! And what an incredible teaching tool for prospective missionaries!

ERRAND OF ANGELS was a real surprise! By far, this is the best of the LDS themed-films that I have seen so far. It is beautifully filmed, scripted, directed, and scored! Christian Vuissa really has given the community a quality film. I felt engaged visually, emotionally, and intellectually!
In the film, Vuissa also made wonderful use of the Austrian culture, cuisine, architecture, and countryside. And the music scored by Robert Elliott was particularly refreshing and an uplifting compliment to the entire experience.
The film was upbeat and inspiring in a very real and practical sense for human relationships, while still providing an entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable movie experience! Can't wait to share this film with family and friends.

My first thought about Errand of Angels was, "Wow! ANOTHER missionary movie?! Hasn't this been done enough?"

The answer is, perhaps it hasn't been done at all until now.

The Errand of Angels was a VERY well done movie in all aspects, completely free of the cheesiness you find in previous generations of LDS Films.

Making a remarkable movie even more remarkable is the fact it was done on such a modest budget. Clearly, money can't buy everything, including quality.

This is a MUST SEE film for Latter-day Saints, and for friends of that faith.

Not only one of the best LDS-themed films I've ever seen, but a just a top-quality all-around movie as well. The acting was first-rate, with a very convincing performance by the actress in the lead role, Erin Chambers. She just shines as the greenie who was going to convert the whole country! Very strong performances by the supporting cast as well. Vuissa is easily one of the most talented LDS directors around. A great story, a great cast, a great director--what's not to like? I can't wait to see this one hit theaters! A definite home run!

Finally an LDS film that you can sit and watch and NOT cringe from all the subculture (often low brow) humor.

This film has as much 'heart' as anything coming out of Hollywood.

The actors gave what was a sincere and honest performance. It was also obvious that these actors were in the capable hands of Director Christian Vuissa.

Other standouts for me was the cinematography (looked like the entire film was shot in Austria) and especially the score from Robert Allen Elliott. I am usually very underwhelmed with the scores of many films (either played too heavily or just not right for the pictures and subtext on the screen.) This score was perfectly suited for THIS film.

Congratulations on a wonderful film. Looking forward to the theatrical release.

Absolutely beautiful! I wanted to move there, and then when I arrived I wanted to hug everyone in the film. A really great film. Sister missionaries are truly a blessing for all of us.

Really? The best LDS film ever? I thought Passage to Zarahemla or Return With Honor were the best LDS films ever. (Do a search on this site and you'll see for yourself.)

Please. Are we really that dumb to fall for this cheap marketing? Besides, the comments all appear to have been written by the same person.

My opinion? I saw the trailer. That was painful enough. It's garbage. And this movie will bomb just like the others.

And in a few months a family member or someone at Church will ask you if you saw this latest LDS film. And they'll tell you the same thing. "It was dumb."

Hey Dave, you're just sour grapes. Let me guess...you didn't like that movie Rescued either. That movie was the best LDS themed movie since Return With Honor...which was the best LDS themed movie since Brigham City...which was the best LDS themed movie since The Home Teachers.

Erin Chambers is the best thing to happen to LDS cinema since Tayva Patch...who was the best actress since Jacque Gray.

And the score? It was sweeping. Wow. I don't know about you but I love a good score.

I can't wait to see what LDS cinema brings us next. I'm sure hoping for Book of Mormon Movie Volume Two.

Tammy, yes, it's true. Germans play with rocks. You can find them all along the Wasatch front.
