Ron Paul is the only candidate who will stand by the constitution! Many people in utah think it is Mitt who will save this country but we need to closely look at his record. This war is bankrupting this country and Romney isn't saying anything about ending it...just the opposite. Every economist is warning about a complete economic collapse and Ron is the only one willing to do something about it. Mitt is a great man.. but we need a patriot here. One who will be willing to go against the status quo. I just don't believe Mitt will stand up to the establishment. Being a mormon isn't enough. And I am an active member here. People need to research and no just be sheeple. Vote for RON!

phebe

A vote for Ron Paul would be a wasted vote because he doesn't stand a chance at winning.

Art

Thank you. Democrats for Hillary will help Mitt win in November. She will be easier to beat.

russ

vote, vote early, vote often.

Bob M.

No relation to the first Bob who posted on this site. Mitt doesn't stand a chance of winning because he is LDS which 29% of the country said they will not vote for a Mormon and he is for the war in Iraq which 70% of the country is against. Mitt is a warmonger and should not have any national office. To phebe who posted earlier--you don't vote for a man because you think he has a chance of wining, you vote for a man/woman because they support the right things. Ron Paul has run 10 times for his seat in Texas, run against very tough odds and won each time. He espouses LDS beliefs much more than "flip-flop" Mitt does. Save your vote for the races at Santa Anita if you want a horse race, but Ron Paul will get our troops out of a no-win war in Iraq and will improve the country.

Cody

Art, don't tell them that, they might wake up.

ER

As a vet of this war I can tell you that to end the war without severe consequences will take time. Having seen first hand what has happened over there I can tell you that given the resources and time we can win this war. We have done so much. I think Mitt knows this, I think he also knows that pulling out quick may save us money in the short run but it will cost us security long term.

We don't need "W" 2.

I can't wait to cast my ballot -- for ANYONE but Mitt.

Mc

Thank you ER for your service and for sharing your insites with us. I wish the media would let us hear more from those who have been there on the front lines and with the Iraqi people. The rest of us are ill-informed observers, making judgements based on what the media wants us to know.

activemormon

ER, we have no resources left for this war. We need to take care of our people and economy here at home.
ART, if a vote for Hillary will help Mitt win then I'm voting for Obama!

Attn: Ron Paul and other antiinvolvement vacuous people:

Ron Paul is simply and polianna/utopia individual who is a couple of clicks to the left of Ross Perot. How can any serious thinker buy unto what these guys say? We have bad people in this country and around the world who have no regard for the sanity of rhetoric about the governance of the the United States of America. Ron Paul's ideas are simply out in left field. The basic problem in the world is we never really finished WW I, and II. If we would have turned over the wars to the generals instead of pacifists, we would have had no Soviet Union or Communist China, and probably would not be deployed around the world as we are now. Getting off the gold standard is part of the world-wide financial mess. But back to the topic.....Mitt is clearly is the best candidate in the race for president. It's going to take a business mind to get this country back on track.

bob m ..... blah! blah! nice try, but until i see has any delegates[ron paul] votes, more then Romney, you have no case at all period.
could you expound on any worthwhile cause where the majority side with your ron paul on anything?
base your argument votes and delegates end of ron sadly to say.
you should help him raise more money to help ron out.
end of 1st round

You are calling Ron Paul an isolationist? So was George Washington. He warned the United States against entangling alliances just before he left office. We've created a mess in Iraq.. and for what? The US set up Saddam. And he wouldn't play their game anymore... so now they've destroyed Iraq. Just because someone is a valiant soldier doesn't mean he understands all the implications of the war. I support our troops but not this phony war. Iraq didn't bomb the World Trade Center.. most were Saudi's. Do some serious research. Research the administration of Wilson. We need to stop killing our own economy. Ron Paul is the only one willing to do it. I will not "GIVE" my vote to the lesser of evils. A vote for evil is still a vote for evil.

Mc

A primary vote for Ron Paul is simply a wasted vote. A vote for any third party candidate who is conservative is really a vote for whoever the democrats nominate. That is how Clinton was elected president with only 43% of the popular vote. Republicans were split between Perot and Bush, giving the presidency to the democrat. So when you withhold your vote from the lesser of two evils, you are really giving it to the greater evil.

94% of LDS voters in Nevada went for Mitt Romney. The same will happen in Utah. Do y'all still wonder why most Americans suspect the LDS Church of being either a cult or a corporate racket, or both?

VotingforPaul

Voting for John McCain is the same as voting for a liberal. Some people have been influenced by the media, and love to tear down the 'last best hope' for this country, which is Ron Paul

FLR

Ron Paul is an isolationist and that wont work in today's world. He has no chance anyway. Mitt is our best hope.

Vernal roid re: robots

Thanks for your anti mormon comments you've made me change my mind on who I'll vote for(NOT) Just want to say get a life, stop hateing, it will just eat you up inside.

FYI Nevada

If you are naive enough to believe the LDS people in Nevada voted for Romney just because he is LDS you are very mistaken. They voted for Romney because he shares their values and he is the best candidate for the job. His economic proposal makes the most sense of any of the other candidates its the best Ive seen and even makes more sense than President Bushs proposal.

If Harry Reid was running for President he would get very little of the LDS vote in Nevada even though he like Romney is LDS.

It is very funny to me as to why so many people who hate the LDS people want to live in Utah amount them. I would think you would be doing anything you could to get out of Utah so you wouldnt have to deal so many of them. I think most of you love to live in Utah because of the lifestyle you enjoy there.

Dan Falstaff

90 plus percent of nevada mormons voted mittney. It was, as mentioned in the previous post, because he shares their values and is the best candiate for the job. This being the case, then, we could extrapolate that such a clear 'best candidate' would garner similar high support from lesbians, game show hosts, catholics and presbyterians.
Of course this is not true.
So, if mittney does not resonate as a 'shares their values and is the best candidate for the job' with everyone, I do have to question how such a huge spike in support from mormons can be written off as a coincidence.
I guess it could simply be that to vote for mitt is to vote for the best candidate, religion excepted, and voting against mitt is blatant religious bigotry.
