I thought we were done with her.
When my son was little, 15 years ago, I would take the stories of the prophet's lives from the children's friend and make them into little books. He loved them. They each had rich experiences as children. I hope the songs tell of that.
For myself, I have 70 songs that I have written, in my very amature style, that are from the talks of our general authorities. THey probably won't ever get further than my computer. Once I started I can't stop. It is amazing what can come from studying inspired words and picking up a pencil.
This songwriter has a very special gift. that has greatly benefitted the church, in a day when just playing the piano in various callings would keep most musical persons very busy. How does she manage?
At last ... a story of genuine interest. Something I enjoy reading. No controversy. Thanks, DN.
Kelly Miller: Print the songs you have written. Give them to family and friends as gifts next Christmas. Your thoughts and feelings about the words of modern-day prophets, as you heard them, will provide a marvelous legacy for your posterity. God bless you for using your talents.
