This is disappointing from Forbes. Correlation does not mean causation. Don't read too much into this Utah, Salt Lake is not a great city to find employment. There are many many professionals outside of the state of Utah that can't progress fully through a career if we elect to come back to Utah. It is truly unfortunate as many of us would like to.

I understand unemployment and TOTAL pay combined with cost of living, but the increase is completely completely irrelevant. If you wanted to include that, I would bet that Mumbai India would far outdistance the remainder of the listed, however, find many Americans that want to live in Mumbai.
