That settles it. No more All-Star games for Memo.

Inflation

Sorry, due to high inflation their will be no encore by Money. What happened on thursday only happens once every 37 games.

The stats in past confirm that Memo have enough much ability to do the things better. If a person has ability means he may show them in any time. We don't want him to have abilities because he has. We just want him to show it. In one's life something may be changed and it may be caused to effect the all. If that is negative means he has chance to change it to positive. What we know from positive science that "existence can't be non-exist, just changes to another". Memo's abilities are existence. He's now started to change it to its origin again. GO MEMO, GO JAZZ

Memo's never been a good defender, but he used to be a solid rebounder and effective scorer. I don't say that only because his numbers are down. With other guys scoring more I'd expect his numbers that. The problem is WHEN he scores and WHEN he rebounds, and this could be said for the entire Jazz team. "What do I have to do this second to win?" Rebound? Score? Deflect a pass? Hit a free throw? Block a shot? Steal the ball? That question has to be asked every instant of every game for a team to be a champion. I've seen Memo too often caught flat footed and reacting rather than anticipating and initiating. "Oh...we're playing basketball and my man is trying to score...oops, I'll get him next time." The younger players like Brewer and Miles are inexperienced, but their play shows an interest and desire to improve. Memo has a "Depends on my mood," approach. I like Memo, he has a decent shot and has shown he can hit baskets at crucial times, he just hasn't shown it this year. Sorry Memo, but we working stiffs all have to deal "What have you done for me lately."

Good things happen when Memo takes it to the hole.He is exciting to watch when he dominates like the Pheonix game.Memo could be that presence down low that we need if we can convince him to move his camp in from the 3 point line. His three ball will drop if he establishes his inside game first.Come on Memo we need you to dominate in the paint. You can do it,just ask Amare.

Jazz Need More Emotion

The Jazz need someone to step up and show some emotion and truly be a leader. When they were losing all of those games, it seemed like there wasn't anyone that even really cared.

The Jazz need to bring back Big Dawg Antoine Carr.

The only player to show a little emotion is Hart and that's because he is sick of missing every shot at the end of quarters. (Hate that!)

STEP UP

I know we lost about every game he missed. But we need him to score 15-20 a game and at least 8 boards. C'mon Memo step up only two double doubles you can do better than that. Amare is not the best defender but c'mon that is horrible memo. I have also noticed Boller hasn't called him MONEY any more. even though the last game I watched on TNT with the worst telecast on all of tv.

Agreed, inflation. We only get a game like that from Memo when all the stars are in alignment. He has the capability every time he steps on the floor, but he doesn't have the drive or desire. He's lazy and unmotivated. He is one of the many high paid athletes today that just shows up for the paycheck, not for the job. I'll take a Ronnie Price that leaves his guts on the floor every time out, to a Memo that is a yawner about 36 out of every 37 games. I wish I could just show up and do my job when I feel like it and still get paid !!!

Ted

I only wonder how many other teams Memo would be a starting center for? A true all star finds a way, if not for any other reason, because he loves the game, the competition, and he had pride.

Memo to Memo

Hey dude, you need to move your camp from beyond the arc back down into the paint.Thats where you dominate.Thats where championships are won.You can still crack a few 3's when the times right. So GO MEMO,GO JAZZ!!!

Jazz Fan

Memo Okur and the other Jazz players are fine. It's just that the Neverending Basketball Association is much too long, and the roster doesn't stack up player for player with the teams who will be vieing for the championship later. It's a battle of attrition. Players like Kirilenko don't cut the mustard in this respect. They are vulnerable to injuries. This league is also in the mode of allowing players to take time off for everything under the sun. It's the national trend in all aspects of our lives....TIME OFF. What's that? You get paid to work....you don't work, you don't get paid. Memo can't be expected to bang it with the many of the front line players. He just doesn't have the tools, and will be injured if he does mix it up inside. This is where Malone and some of the past role players the Jazz had on their rosters in the past (brutes) helped do the dirty work on the floor. The league today is much more athletic...the officials are allowing more and more contact. The Jazz aren't quick enough to play a good perimeter zone defense....and are victimized by driving better ballhandling teams. Go JAZZ!!

Matt

Memo is the reason the Jazz won so many games last year. It seemed like everynight the Jazz would come from behind in the 4th quarter and Memo would hit a big three in the final 2 minutes.

That has been missing this year. The Jazz have been close, but they haven't won close games (of course their defense could be better, but I'd rather have a great three point shooter than good team defense when it comes down to the final 2 minutes of the game! Well... maybe they are of equal value... actually I think the playoffs proved that team defense is more important)

In the 05-06 season I felt the Jazz were good, they just couldn't finish. In in 06-07, Memo finished and they looked better. Right now, the Jazz can't finish games.

oregon man

If the Jazz want to get a ring this season, they have got to play every game, from now on to the end of the season, like it's a play-off game. then, and only then, will they win a championship. all the great teams play this way. at least all the great players on the teams do. come to the game to play. don't ever take a day off. give it your best ev
ery game you play. now do it ! Go Jazz go !

It's amazing Memo is getting hot just when Korver gets here.

Matt, Memo may have hit several key 3 pointers last year, but he and Boozer's lack of help defense put them in a position they needed the 3. What good are 30 point scorers (per game) if they give up 35?

The last 2 games Memo looks like he has been reading these comments. If he can play a game or 2 like this, then he is capable of doing it every night. Especially for 'that' paycheck!

Miky

yep but not whit carlos:))=)))
