While I generally vote Republican and can't vote in SL County. I do work in SL County. Mayor Corroon has done an outstanding job as Mayor. He has been fiscally responsible (denying Soccer stadium funds) as well as several other high profile decisions which were right on. Keep up the good work Mayor!
Peter Corroon has accomplished what he said he would during his term. His agenda for the next four years is a good one. He is smart and has integrity. Salt Lake County is lucky to have him in office.
Lacks vision, focuses on the here and now only. Could do better as Mayor.
nlw, I think being able to hold property taxes steady through 2009 at a time when our neighboring counties are going up (see particularly Davis County) shows enough vision for me. His budget this year seemed very well thought out to continue current programs and ensure that the county is sustainable for next year as well.
What do you want from him that would be "better"?
I don't think you understand government.
