Comments about ‘The right man, the right time’

This op-ed sets a great tone for the coming administration. Best wishes wo all involved.

We can expect eight solid years of "Isn't St. Ralph wonderful" from the DMN.

I don't know much about Becker but this op-ed gives me high-hopes that he is, "The right man at the right time".

I am optimistic he can make working for SLC a better experience for the city employees (less tense work environment, less walking on eggshells to avoid offending the mayor and getting the ax, etc).

I am also optimistic that his low-key style will enable him to mend the fences with his neighbors in Davis Co and SL Co (Both residents and leaders from these counties).

I hope he can help both Moromon and non-Mormon residents and visitors feel welcome in SLC.
