Donnelson's bill is yet another attempt to further marginalize undocumented students. These kids were raised in the US and are essentially Americans, and yet they can't work, can't vote, have to constantly live in fear, and now people want to make it impossible for them to get educated. What are Utah's lawmakers trying to do here? These kids are already ineligible for financial aid, most scholarships, and most loans. Denying them this tiny bread crumb which makes it barely possible for some of them to manage to pay for schooling in the country they belong in out of their own pockets is ridiculous and petty.

They are not US citizens. They may live in Utah, but they are not residents.

Jake

If you think it is so great to help these illegals by helping to pay for their schooling why don't you step forward and help them out of your pocket??
Try going inot Mexico, attending one of their colleges and try to get their
gov. to help pay your tuition---- but don't hold your breath. You may want to star a new fan club--Thye Bleeding Hearts.

Catch 22

If you help them get a college degree then the jobs they are qualified for require them to steal someone's identity.

So we are now forcing them into a life of crime.
