My vote for the best run at Snowbird is Regulator Johnson. I have spent many a day riding the Little Cloud lift over and over.

Powderguy, the vote isn't for BEST run, it's for SIGNATURE run. The run that defines the place. The run that every out-of-towner wants to hit. Example: The signature run at Jackson Hole is clearly Corbet's Couloir, but I don't think there's a person alive who's skied Corbet's who thinks it's the best/funnest run there.

At the 'bird, Great Scott is a good choice, as well as anything in the Wilbere area, Mach Schnell, or Dalton's draw (those last 3 because everybody can see you).

But my vote goes to an area that's rarely open and most people aren't willing to hike an hour to reach - Twin Peak Chutes. The lines are cut like gashes in the mountain, the skiing is hairball, and every eye at Snowbird is on you. Plus some of the best skiers in the world play up there - I've seen telemarkers huck 60-foot backflips off the cornice and straighline the rest of the way. In my mind, Twin Peak is the signature "run" at Snowbird, and it's not even close.

I have skied at Snowbird several times. I know the resort like the back of my hand. The run that has the best terrain, and snow is Dalton's Draw. The problem is that it is so difficult to get to, but I guess that's why it is the best. A close second would be the Gad Chutes. It is easily accessible, good snow, and has varying terrain for what your mood is that day.

I skied snowbird over 100 days this year, and no matter how many times I make the LEAP of faith into that run my heart skips a beat. This run is the Best run in the NATION. Great Scott Rules!

The Great Scott run at Snowbird is the steep area seen at the far right. Chip's Run can be seen at the bottom left.
