What a concept... A Mayor who considers the needs of all and not just his personal agenda. That would be very refreshing.
I was born and raised in Utah and now live in downtown SLC. I wonder why the new mayors name was never mentioned? Still upset over losing to Buhler?
Is the Mayor getting more responsibility than his Office deserves? His primary job is to be the CEO (Chief Exectutive Officer) of Salt Lake City. The City Council is the Board of Directors that sets policy. His job is to see that those policies are carried out. He, of course, has the right to campaign for policies that he would like to see implemented, just as any other citizen of the city has that right; but, to extend his title to "Sovereign" is going just a little too far.
think of your favorite platitudes and then fill in the blanks- don't bother reading a John Flores column- waste of time
