What is your point on reporting peoples challenges and pain? The Gleaves are respectable, good people in our community. It is completely unnecessary and counter productive to publically report such stories. It would be great if you could put your time into something worth reporting.

~.....as a recovering addict... I find this focus insulting. I went to prison, I changed my Thought Process........ I am better FOR IT.......
An "addict" is not a criminal-- it is his actions to support this addiction which can become criminal.
The "addict" can change, if it is what THE ADDICT wants.
Do not insult those who have done so much more than the "normal" could ever understand............

This is a good family who unfortunately has a child with an illness. There is no need to cause them undue humiliation and further heartache and distress than they have already endured. They need support as they continue to try to help their son and brother rather than exposing private family issues for others to judge.

May our thoughts and prayers be with all who stumble and fall along the way.

I am not sure what purpose was served by this story other than making a family's private tragedy into a public one. The epidemic of drug abuse is growing and unfortunately affects good families. How does this public exposure accomplish anything but increase their pain?
