This doesn't make sense, considering they just dropped the prime rate another 1/4 point.

OF COURSE IT MAKES SENSE. THE LENDING INDUSTRY USUALLY LOWERS RATES IN ANTICIPATION OF A PRIME RATE DECREASE AND OTHER FACTORS, UNLESS THE RESULTS ARE MORE DRAMATIC THAN ANTICIPATED, THE RATES WILL USUALLY INCREASE IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING A FED RATE DROP.
