Mormonism is just the delivery vehicle. Don't muddy the water with Mormonism. The point is Mormons through the vehicle of their church have sworn oaths and covenants of absolute allegiance and obedience, to their living male hierarchy, first and foremost above everything else; therefore, how can they represent "We the People?".
"When Salt Lake City Calls" answers the questions concerning this conflict between Mormonism and the public trust. The public is missing the point. It wouldn't make any difference if it was "ABC club," it's the allegiance factor. It doesn't matter to whom that allegiance is required the principle remains the same. Don't confuse the issue. The issue is the allegiance factor sworn to someone other than the American people; that's the issue, not Mormonism.
