Without Fisher leaving, the Jazz get stagnant. Ronnie Brewer is coming into his own, and gets paid less than Fisher. Fisher coming to the Jazz was a one hit wonder. And I don't buy into the medical treatment story that he gave 100%. It may be true, but you don't just get out of your contract one day and sign with another team only a day or two after. The logistics make that impossible. There were talks with the Lakers prior to him leaving. I'm glad he is gone because it helps the Jazz, and the booing was inappropriate. We should cheer and thank him for leaving.

And did you see a couple of those crossovers that DWill did on Fish? It was off the charts, so much so that Fish didn't play much in the second half because he couldn't hang with DWill.

A big deal. These athletes get paid millions of dollars. They are "our" entertainers, the jazz fans wish his daughter well, but it's a sport and have every right to boo him for whatever reason. They just think he handled his situation kind of fishy. Whether he did or not is irrelevant. The situation indeed looks fishy and that's what the public believes.

Also, comparing what fisher did to what karl malone did is quite different. Malone played over 15 seasons as a jazz man, and when it was obvious the jazz weren't going to go anywhere in the time he had left he wanted a championship (didn't get it). He got booed when he came here in a laker uniform, but the fans forgive him after because he was upfront. Fisher was not upfront and he should have asked for a trade, or something to give value back for the jazz even though it ended up benefitting the jazz.

it was classless to boo fish, but i do agree with the people that did, but still shouldn't of booed him. the only people they should boo is the person wearing the #24 and it says bryant. i was really good fan of fish, bought his jersey after game 5 of golden state series, then i was so dissipointed that he would be leaving. i still do wear his jersey though, because you still have to respect him for what he did for us. i did hear that after december that tatum wont have to go to new york and will be able to have the rest of the treatment in L.A. Somebody said something about the boozer situation so, what i heard about that is boozer said he doesnt want to leave the jazz, and he said that his family will be coming to slc sometime in january or feburary. DWILL FOR MVP!

i think the reason that Fisher got booed was in the way he left the team. He asked to leave (fine, i get the reason behind the request) but he immediately signed with the lakers. His locker wasn't even cold yet. it just seemed so premeditated. He made it seem as if that was the plan all along. NMow, I'm not saying it was the plan, but that's what it looked like. Fans felt betrayed after welcoming him to the team.

Jazz fans. Classless.
