To bitter coug fans, before you burn the kid, walk in his shoes. It's fans like you that make kids go up north or elsewhere. Stop being eliteist. I love my Cougs, and hate the Utes, but I know when to not make it personal. Take an example from the scriptures you "read" and learn that if someone makes a comment or has opinion you disagree with, turn the other cheek.
My vote: Beehive Battle
By the way, the "Holy War" junk would stop if the inane sports reporters and broadcasters would just put it away and leave it alone. Some pathetic ink stained wretch came up with it and every other pathetic ink stained wretch perpetuated it.
It's a great rivalry...it certainly doesn't need a nickname.
Go Coogs! Whip San Diego State and then pray for a BCS miracle.
Oops...sorry Ute fans...didn't mean to bring religion back into the discussion. I know how uncomfortable that makes you all feel.
Way to go Kruger! Can't wait to see you get to work for the Utes.
That said, who really cares where this young man goes to school? By himself, is he going to turn the rivalry around? I loved both universities in different ways. I wouldn't trade my experiences at either university. I put both diplomas on my wall.
Stop taking his choice personally, as if this kid punched your wife and ran over your dog.
Go Cougars (my alma mater) and Utes!
Congrats David. I hope you have a great career at Utah.

BYU wanted this player but understood his desire to play where his brother may very well be one of the leaders by his senior year.
My brother played at Mississippi and I was recruited by more than one school in the South but made my decision to go where I had family. Don't blame this young man at all. Wish him well on his mission and wish him well against every one but BYU.
