While close games are great, I have no problem with BYU running up the score and kicking an onside kick.

This is exactly why, as a true blue Cougarfan, I root for the Utes all season. A consistently bad Ute team would quickly have this rivalry spiral into BYU v USU - nothing. It does so much more for the conference, the rivalry, and the state when both teams go into this game doing well. That's why I have never understood the mentality of fans who want either the Utes or Cougs to lose leading up to this game. I can't wait unto the day they are both ranked with BSC implications!! Go Cougs and go Utes (except for today).

I pull for the Y in every game except two. Purdue and Utah. Otherwise I want them to be a strong team. It makes our conference better and makes this game better.

This game like all others will end up with BYU beating themselves, it has nothing to do with Utah. They will drop a pass that should be a touchdown like Unga just dropped Utah will go down and score the next drive and again beat the superior team. BYU will double there yardage and everything else and will find a way to lose. Count on it! In the end Utah will win there bowl game against BYU and BYU will win the MWC.

Congradulations Cougars on another conference championship. The game was boring until the fourth quarter, the last couple of minutes were very exciting, just like last year. Congrats Cougars.

Despite BYU's consistent prolific offense, Utah still thinks they can beat BYU when BYU has the ball at the end of the game. 2 years in a row, BYU comes through. Go Cougars!

fantastic win? I would say more of a gut check win. 4 and 18 was great but if BYU was so prolific would it have needed that miracle to pull it off? BTW I think the PI was the worst of the two penalties at the end. The guy had his head looking at the ball and made a play with the position. What else does he need to do? I hope both teams win the bowl game because that is where people measure our conference. Too bad the Cougs have had a hard time in the past. As a ute i am cheering for BYU against UNC.
