Judging the judges

The Founders of this nation considered judicial independence to be the people's only hope for freedom against the tyranny of the majority. That's why the federal system appoints judges for a lifetime, with the only condition being "good Behavior." Most cries for judicial "accountability" are from politicians who think they are wiser than the Founding Fathers. Politicians are always greedy for power and they want to control judges and will do anything to achieve that goal. If you want courts that are controlled by politicians, just let the Utah Legislature run loose on this issue, and heaven help us all.
