Wear Blue! Don't be a Skittle!
Wish I was there
Las Vegas Katbacker
After an egregious action like this. Provo High school should be torn down , the buildings razed, and the ground sewn with salt.
It probably would'nt hurt to outlaw the color red in Utah County.
I have a feeling that someone is going to park across the street from Provo High, and have the BYU Fight Song blairing from their car to "Welcome" the yewt fans into Provo! I would also watch out for some water in the air (not rain) coming down on the tailgaters! Welcome to Provo! BYU will win.
Max Hall has 2 interceptions-one returned for a td. Sakoda makes BYU go the length of the field all day long and Brian Johnson has a brilliant game, running the ball more than usual. Utah wins 24-17.
Go Utes! We have been Crimson red hot and should roll past BYU. (can we avoid the onside kick when we get to far ahead?)
There's a football game today?
I hope the Provo School District is prepared to press charges for smoking and drinking on school grounds as eagerly as they would any other day! Absolutely amazing that they would allow this tailgate party to take place on a High School Campus. Don't pretend it won't happen, because you know it will.
GO COUGARS!! True class knows no score!!
Interesting to contrast the low-key atmosphere of BYU games - with focus on the game, and the common place Roman-esque beer fests that take place before Utah games. Have fun at your "home away from home".
What poor writing.
Cool down Ute fan...It seems to me in Mr. Rock's article yesterday he mentions the UTAH STUDENT who was proudly wearing her shirt that read "FULLY INTOXICATED"...what do you expect when the Ute student body makes fun of themselves??? You're a little tense.
GO COUGARS!!!
Way to go Provo High. Showing class and welcoming your guests. Something everyone could learn from.
Besides, getting more Utes there will make the walk back to your cars fun, little eweyt tails through their legs.
And don't be so sensitive Utes.
It's even illegal in Cali to use tobacco or alcohol on any school or district property (even the warehouses...)
You can have fun sober. Try it, you'll remember the game.
Way to go DN for removing Ute Fans comment! Censorship at it's best!
Don't put the two words together, its an insult to all Cougar fans. How about the BYU b-ball team
Enjoy the game. Win or lose with dignity and pride, and look forward to more games with anticipation.
yeah...its official...Ute Fan has lost all his senses.
GO COUGARS!!!
Kick out the Reds from the seats, they are trespassing on private property.....LOL!!!
GO COUGARS!!!!!!!!!!!!
WE WIIIIIIIIIIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WE WIIIIIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice game, Utes, but se still won!!!!!!!!!!!!
See you in 2008!
Great game Utah! We won! Yea Coogs! How about the
b-ball team!
I hope the Utes had fun at their party. And treated respectfully enough to be able to enjoy the day. The rudeness this rivalry brings out is horrible. Enjoy whatever team you choose, and let the other guys do the same. I say, down with rude fans of any color.
I think Jody's final paragraph was pretty accurate as that red dot dejectedly filed out of LaVell Edwards Stadium yesterday afternoon. However, it was nice to see Utah's largest crowd of the season at 5,000 to 6,000 show up to support the team in Provo. It's unfortunate they draw such little interest in Salt Lake.
