Those other states "ethics" committees are usually just a tool for opponents to bash officials. People then become inoculated to it and don't pay attention anymore, even when they should.

Why would you make some glancing comment about Obama, without justifying your remark? Obama has championed ethics reform in the illinois state legislature and in the US senate.

Obama is the only honest one of the bunch.
