Shouldnt he be doing his job? Thats what we pay him to do? What a joke another government official wasting our tax money.

If Rocky is still in office he still has to go by the rules. Why can't he understand that?? Why does he ALWAYS get away with getting other council members to bend things just a bit for him!!

Mark my words.... the council will come to regret this decision when Rocky takes these funds and uses for purposes that will not reflect well on the council and city constituents.

When has Rocky ever done his job?

Corrupt mayor (this we know), maybe corrupt councilmembers? I wouldn't be surprised if he greased a few palms in this deal. Show a little class, Rocky! And some patience, while you're at it - you asked for this job as Mayor, it's almost over, just chill out till January, okay? He's worse than my 2 year old!

I bet the Deseret News censor deletes this!

"Shouldnt he be doing his job? Thats what we pay him to do? What a joke another government official wasting our tax money."

Mitt missed 277 days has governor. I'm guessing this doesn't matter because no Utah paper seems to think Mitt's attendance was a important issue.

Rocky has always had a problem with this--operating more from his personal Rocky agenda instead of respecting the office (and its limits) that the people gave him.

He pats himself on the back while looking in the mirror because he has wonderful righteous plans he wants to accomplish but he doesn't want to let laws, rules, policies, checks and balances, and even opposing points of view get in the way--all because he's right.

Oops, this sounds like our Current Occupant of the Oval Office who, I might add, has a similar problem respecting the limits on his office in pursuit of what HE thinks is right.

I imagine that it must be easier to raise funds with the authority and mantle of the office at your back. I suppose that's why they made this law in the first place.

Rocky could have and should have waited.
