Madagascar is a beautiful place, and the people are wonderful. It's good to see it get some recognition here in the US, more people should definitely think about visiting there.

I loved this article, it was well written, and I could see much of what was described in my mind's eye. I am one of those Americans who don't know much about Madagascar - other than, as the author stated - it is very, very far away. Thanks for making the world a little bit smaller for me today.

Having been in Maroantsetra more than 20 years ago I loved Carma's description of the situation there. You should be given the opportunity to visit more other parts of the country

Madagascar is a wonderful place. Having been there for two years of my life, this article brought back memories of the people and places.

My son is a Mormon missionary living in Madagascar and loves the people and their country. We will definately visit there.

Born in Madagascar in 1945 and living now in U.S since 1970 I hope to go back soon. I miss it so much.
