nba at its best, players turning it off and on when they please. hey deron, remember calling out the boys in last years playoffs vs san antonio? call yourself out loud and clear or you're not leader you claim to be. booz another solid effort, thanks. and hey big man from turkey, feel free to just one time in your career put a body on someone going to the hoop and make them pay for it! your new name is "charmin": your soft and you absorb! there is more to the game than spotting up for 3's. come jazz, let don't let games slip away to average nba teams like indy.

The Jazz haven't really looked very good in most of their games. They aren't dominating rebounds like they did last year. Their defense is terrible. Memo's shooting has been awful since last year's all-star game. The worst part is that DW hasn't looked good over the last 4 games. In fact, I think Jason Hart's play has been better- and that's pretty sad.

The West is really good. The Jazz are going to be lucky to get the 8th seed.

Time for a trade?

These are the games at the end of the year we don't end up w/ homecourt advantage and kick ourselves for it. Phx,Spurs, and the other elites win these games and set themselves apart from the rest maybe by only a few games but it gives them the edge at the end of the year. Simply stated everyone on the team is trying but they must get better and win these games if they want to prove to everybody that they are what they self-proclaim to be, the contracts and money mean nothing w/ no backup of pure team play that eqauls wins. Hate the spurs if we may but they have shown how te be unselfish and win, even if it sacrifices a little contract money in the short term, ie Duncan. Step it up Jazz.

What a bunch of fair weather fans. If the Jazz keep winning at this percentage they will have 52+ wins, Not bad for a tean that nobody, including their "fans" don't believe in,

If boozer had scored 30 points they still would have lost.

What ever scoring output you get from the power forward position doesn't matter.

Lokk at the last to games boozer scores a lot they lose . boozer score not as much , they still lose.

Champoinships are not dependent on power forward play.

Malone scored a lot, he never won a champinship.
Nowitzke scores a lot, he has never won a championship.
Garnet scores a lot, he's never won a Championship.

And don't give me Duncan, we all know he really a center.

Just look at the make-up of teams that win champoinships. They do not have high scoring power forwards. They have powerforwards that mostly reboud and defend, like ben wallace, or rambis, or mahorn and on and on. Theose don't remember history are doomed to repeat it.

Bold prediction: As long as the jazz configure their team around a high scoring power forward they will never win a champoinship. History tells me so.

Hard to be a fan of this team right now. Pathetic on defense, and little to no hustle. I can't cheer for a bunch of millioniares who coast through the entire game. This team is soft, and they haven't beat anybody good yet. When they play a decent team, it's going to be ugly!

Well, here comes that losing streak we always always see about this time of the year, give or take a week. Can Booz and Willey motivate and get them playing like a team again, hmm, probably not. Can Sloan motivate them and get them out of this starting of a slump, heck no, that is not his job, these ball players make millions, that should be enough in itself to drive these players to play their best. Sloan has told us that hmmm, how many times. I've heard this so many times I am about to throw up. Motivating from the Jazz coaching position is not in his job description. Now let them just plunder and learn from their mistakes, let them get themselves out of it when they finally decide to play, we can count on that, we see it every every year.

Oh I understand we are still working on a coaching extention, oh yes, sign him, hurry, I want to see 5 or 6 more years of this same coaching style.

Now is the time a good coach would uplift, challenge, praise where needed and motivate and maybe discipline where needed. Coaches makes millions, shouldn't Sloan motivate his players.

Don't compare Jazz to teams like the Spurs and what not. I feel the Jazz are a very good team, however they are still pretty young and should not be compared to what the Spurs have done. The Jazz are getting there. They are learning. They DO need to win games like the Indiana one, but they are fine. They only need to worry about Denver and competing with them for the division lead. That's it.

Deron Williams needs to take it up a notch. He's getting too fancy and forcing plays that lead to turnovers. Deron needs to just slow down, execute the offense, and take care of the ball. And for everyone else on the team: PLAY DEFENSE!

Re: Jazz Fan
Deron actually did call himself out. Read the article again. He said the last 2 games were on him.

There are too many things to say: 1) Criticizing a team does not make one a fair weather fan, quite the opposite I think. 2) The "high-scoring-power-forwards-never-win" argument is complete over simplification, but Boozer plays more like a center anyway. 3)Jazz fan: "booz another solid effort, thanks." What games have you been watching? Yeah he is scoring, but he is playing like an absolute wimp. 4) Mike, I agree with everything you say about Sloan. Just cant wait for 5 more years of this! Ugh. I won't say Sloan isn't a great coach, he is just irrelevant now. 5) AK doesn't and shouldn't score more, nor should he try. It distracts him from what he is best at. The Jazz already have scorers. Remember when AK averaged like 17 ppg? Also remember the Jazz only won 26 games that year? 6) DEFENSE. I'm talking about things you learn in Junior High: showing on screens, moving your feet, stopping penetration, etc. 117 points to the Pacers? Yeah, time for a little D. Anyway, Im almost out of "Words Remaining." Just got room for two more: Go Jazz.
