Nice game Logan. You earned it. YOU SET THE TONE! Congrats!
I was at both games when LHS played Judge. Judge players were good sports as winners and losers. The fans continued to enthusiastically cheer on their team even when it seemed certain the game was lost. Good game Judge. We look forward to meeting you in the future. Let's let this year be the beginning of a fun and healthy rivalry.
I'm sorry coach, but you're going to have a hard time justifying any use of the term "dominant" when your team loses the time of possession battle 2-1. Judge had two long scoring plays, but never moved the ball with any consistency. That's not dominance. Congrats to Logan.
John, I couldn't agree more. Thought that was an unusual and misguided comment by Coach Cordova. The only dominance on Friday night was on the part of a talented and motivated Logan team. Congrats to the Grizzlies.
I also agree. Logan's performance was dominant but hats off to Judge's defense. Just as Cordova said once they finally started to play they were pretty dominant. Logan didn't come close to scoring in the second half. If it wasn't for Judge's offense and special teams handing the ball to Logan with excellent field position Judge could have had a chance. Hats off to Logan congratulations and we can't wait to see you guys next year!
Always should haves, would haves, and could haves. Logans QB ended first half with a broken thumb to go along with the bruised wrist from quarterfinals. the second half would have been totally different with the original offensive plan. Hats off to the backup QB he showed a lot of heart in such a criical situation going up against JM's D. He did what was asked to just eat up the clock for 24 minutes. The first 35-7 meeting was a huge wakeup call and a great lesson for LHS. Congrats to JM for their developing program. They were the ones Logan unltimately had to raise the bar to compete with.
