If Bonds is found guilty, he should be able to keep his home run record, minus, the homeruns that he hit the year that he lied to the feds.

Baseball's serious problem is... Baseball has now become a political issue. Now it doesn't matter if Bonds is guilty or not. Once someone's political ambition is at stake, he's gona go down! The worst part is... politicians will be meddling in baseball's affairs for the forceable future. It's no longer a sport, It's politics.

The political opportunism is just getting started. Last week we heard the Democrats blaming the long time it took for the indictment on President Bush and Alberto Gonzales's firing of the state attorney who was doing the investigation. The Republicans will want to get in on it next. This is just the start of using baseball as a political game.

The facts are, that bonds admits to using the cream, and the clear, and it has been proven that the creme, and the clear, are steriods.

Even a graduate of the government school system should be able to see that bonds used steroids. The question of did he know it or not, is absolutely irrelevant. He broke all those records, while using (unknowningly?) steroids.

If he did so using a bat made of titanium/steel, but didn't realize it, would the records be allowed to stand?

He is guilty, because he admits to using substances that are known to be illegal. Ignorance doesn't change the facts.

Sports used to be the "Battle of the Coaches."

Today it's the "Battle of the Pharmacists."

I stopped paying attention to baseball when they had their strike.

What record, a record of using steroids. Void his record due to his substance abuse. Even if the weak MLB had not ban on it he knew what it was doing in other sports and continued to use steroids.
