No, Jan Brady was not LDS, but Bobby was. Mike Lookinland who played Bobby was born in Mt. Pleasant, Utah and raised in the LDS church.
Wonderful story, Ann. I agree that nobody should be offended by people over the age of 95. My oldest girl is 5 and I've already embarrassed her once this year by trying to teach her the "running man" while standing in line to ride the Bat at Lagoon. When she starts dating I'm bringing out the big guns: I'm showing off the moonwalk on her first date!
way to go Ann! As a mother of seven - NONE of which would allow me to drop them off in front of the school in the family minivan -I delight in finding embarrassing things to spring on my kids....showing their baby pictures to their friends is a guaranteed embarrassing thing to do...
This is one of your best columns ever. I am emailing it to my four grown children, who are still embarassed by their mom although they live between a hundred and 2,300 miles away.
