Utah Moms for Clean Air? At least they should be honest about their reason for their oposition. If they are really concerned about clean air, then the corridor is the best thing that can happen. Have they considered the polution effect of all of those cars idling at traffic jammed intersections in their neighborhoods. Give me a break.

And of course, one mile on either side of a major highway should be designated as a horse only zone.

I'm not sure which is worse, the people protesting these much needed roads in order to "save the environment"or the greedy developers who built thousands of homes in areas without any sort of road infrastructure to support them. For those who believe that we should build walking paths instead of roads should drive on Lehi Main Street to Saratoga Springs at 6pm for a few days; their comments on development are about 10 years and 25,000 homes too late.

I love the people that say no Tolls, so my question is how do you get the Billions of dollars to build new highways without tolls? We can't even keep our existing roads in good shape with the dollars we have.

my gas taxes and other vehicular taxes helped pay for all the roads on the east side, the legacy highway, etc. ad infinitum. Slap a toll on the Mt View corridor the same type you slap a toll on the Van Winkel Expressway, or Highland drive, or the Legacy parkway, the east side of I-215, or any other major road on the east side of the valley.

Don't blame greedy builders, no one forced those residents to buy a home in Saratoga (and other fringe locations). Would I buy in one of those locations? No, but if I did it wouldn't be a builder's fault.
