Did East High School enter in to a agreement , which allows East High School to use the copy rights to the name "High School Musical?"

East High was compensated for the fair use of the school for movie production. Entertainment companies get fired up with the intellectual capital are stolen.

Would interest be so high if the studio hadn't created branding with these movies?

hey Anonymous east high did not steal a copy righted name by putting on the show "high School Musical" there is a stage version as well as a movie.

High schools all across the country are putting on performances of the show. It has a huge popularity with the movie and has a lot of fun song and dance numbers that kids want to perform and watch. East High just gets the benefit of being the actual school where the tv movie was filmed.

I just wanted to say that I saw the show and thought it was fabulous. Those students put in a lot of hard work and it shows. They are great little actors just beaming with enthusiasm. Way to rock East High!!!

I was in a stage production of HSM and it was amazing, I think it would be so much more amazing to be in the actual school that it was filmed in. Break a leg EAst HIgh Actors!!!

East High School, put on an amazing performence and their acting and choreography were amazing, some of the best i have seen...I dont want to be rude but their choreography was better than the actual movie. I came from Baltimore, Maryland to see the show and was overjoyed when I saw this performence. AND if Kenny Ortega wants people to really sing in his movies he should get these East High Students and cast.They can really sing and dance even in the most windiest numbers were you may loose a breath or two.Kenny these kids dont lips.
