Darrell's had a great year...he's really stepped it up. He will get to 1,000 yards this weekend against the pokes.
Utah - 38
Pokes - 17

Go UTES!!!!

UTEfire

I think Mack can get 1,300 this year.

Wyoming hasn't played against him yet so who says because they only allow 102 yards a game in the past will translate to Mack being stopped. I personally don't think they will be able to stop him.

Utah's weapons are becoming numerous and diverse and I doubt any team can stop all of them during any of the remaining games.

Utah will be going to San Diego and not New Mexico for a bowl game. That's if Las Vegas doesn't want them. Utah will win out the rest of the season.

Go UTES!!!!

WYO

The Utes stink and will lay another egg like they did with UNLV. Their winning streak consists of a bunch of horrible teams. Yes, even UCLA and Louisville are bad. Congrats on beating no-body WYO 31 Utah 0!!!

'ol crimson

"Revenge is a dish best served cold." The next three opponents have some payback coming at them. Utah should be up to the task.

Go Utes!

1400 yards for mack

I say mack has a chance at 1400 yards this year. He will have to average about 134 over thhe next 3 games, something that he is very capable of doing. I know the utes are facing tough run defenses in wyoming and BYU, but i think utah's commitment to the run will show that these defenses statistics are inflated. Look at what CSU did to BYU on the ground last week. 1400 yards (or even 1000) would be a tremendous accomplishment for mach especially considering he didnt even play in the first game and barely played in the second.

Andy Ludwig may not be popular but he has figured out the winning formula: Mack over 100 yards = utah win.

UTAH MAN

The Mack Truck needs to keep rolling for Utah to win. I think Stowers needs to contribute to the cause as well if we are to win. I'm not sold on the fact that B. Johnson's shoulder is 100%. His Soph. year he was a much more prolific passer with subpar WR compared to the weapons he has right now. I hope the O-LINE is up to the task of making things happen so Mack and Stowers can do there thing.

GO UTES!!!

to WYO

after we kill wyoming, people will be saying our 6 game winning streak was against nobody...then after we kill New Mexico, they will say the same thing...then after BYU, they will say we got lucky and other than that haven't beat anybody...then we will dominate our bowl game (whichever bowl it is) and people will say we played a weak team...

What it comes down to is the Utes will finish 10-3 and will end up as the best team in the MWC, only they shot themselves in the foot at the first of the year with all the injuries...

CSU had most of the yards against BYU's 2nd and 3rd string defensive players. Mack is overrated. He hasn't run against a good defense all year.

Utah Man

Hey BYU fans, (AKA WYO)

If you are gonna come over here and talk smack (and it is fully encouraged) be man enough to stand up and admit your are a BYU fan. And by the way, if UCLA is so bad, why didn't you beat them? However impressive your win over the 7th best team in the PAC10 is, perhaps you should find another option for attacking the Utes.

I just have to wonder exactly what the mighty cougar record would be if they lost Hall for 4 games, Austin Collie for the entire season, whoever their best OL guy is for the whole season, Jan Jorgenson for 4 games. I hesitate to go into the secondary because the record might improve if some of those guys went down.

BYU has been lucky they haven't played anyone with a better passing offense since Tulsa. They will see tonight just how overrated that defense has gotten over the past couple of months.

GO Utes!!!

Congrats to Darrell Mack on being the most dominant RB in the MWC! Even without playing in game 1 and limited carries in game 2.

Ute

To Wyo. You can only beat the opponent who is across the line. Utah 42, Woming 12

who?

I have not ever heard of Mack

Hey WYO

Sounds like a Ute victory to me since guess what... the pokes ARE nobody! Thanks for setting that one up for us, almost as clever as the zoobies.

UCLA

UCLA was a good team till they lost Olsen. Which is proof a QB makes a huge difference. BJ and Mack... undefeated together.

200 against BYU

Yo,time for the bro to ro!

RE: to WYO

Bold predictions for a team that tends to drop games... we will see. New Mexico owns the Utes and I would not be surprised to see them lose that game as well. People say that you have played weak teams because it is true. Congratulations on beating a bunch of bad teams to get your bowl streak (including Pitt)! We will beat you solidly by shutting down Lack, GO POKES!

Go Utes!

Utah by 5! One game at a time.

utah_man18

Wow, "RE to WYO," Lack... did you think of that all by yourself? Just because you guys can't make any bowl games and when you do you lose them, don't go bashing our streak. I'm tired of talking about our losses, but how can anyone say that the injuries weren't the reason for those? Say what you will about our wins being against nobody ("Louisville, UCLA, and TCU are nobody") but let's just wait until the season ends to decide who's who. After all, bowl games are when teams play to, ideally, their full potential, and when Utah does we can't lose.

According to the drive charts included in the MWC website, CSU had 173 total yards in the first half and 118 in the second half. Was BYU playing their 3rd string defense in the first half? LOL.

CSU drove inside the BYU 10 yard line three times in the first half and came away with 3 total points. Thus, CSU was able to move the ball relatively well against BYU's first stringers, they just couldn't score many points.

Don't try and tell us that most of CSU's yards came against BYU's reserves.

Mack Truck

Mack is overrated? He hasn't ran against a good defense all year?

UCLA allows just over 100 yards a game in rushing defense. Mack had 19 for 107 and a TD. Against a stiff run defense in TCU that is 3rd in the conference in run defense the Mack Truck had another 100. And you people have the nerve to say he is overrated? Come on...I bet you have never put pads on in your life to know how hard it is to churn out 100 yards every game like Mack has when everyone on the other side of the ball is gearing up to stop you.

Grow up coUg fans!

WYO

Congratulations on losing three in a row, the last one to a horrible SDSU team. NEXT!

Anonymous (Cougar fan): Mack had 100 against TCU (albeit on a poor 3.2 ypc), but Utah was vanilla conservative and TCU knew what was coming. TCU IS a good defense. The BYU will find out tonight. TCU is fast, physical and hits hard.

Speaking of hard hitting defense, UCLA. Yep, that team has not been the same since they lost Ben Olson. Remind me again when they lost him? OH, that's right, when UCLA cam to SLC. Olson hasn't been the same since Sly Sylvester went WWF on him and Terrell Cole drilled him in the numbers.
