AMEN TO THAT! ALOT OF US NEVER HAVE THE CHANCE TO MAKE THE EYES OF OUR ELDERS SHINE AS MUCH THROUGH SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS THE GIFT OF MUSIC.

beautiful song that was dedicated to great man who was loved and repected by his family and the world. I remember meeting him when he and his family visited the West Los Angeles Ward back in the 70's and also in Provo Utah compound. He will be greatly missed-but he has gone home to be with our father in heaven and his wife of 60 yrs, they have a true enternal marriage.. Our father in heaven has a mission for him and he has gone home to serve with him.

George reminded me so much of my grandfather. He will be greatly missed, but has left such a magnificent legacy in his family, so proven by 1 of his 55 grandsons, Nathan, through this song. I was very fortunate to have met George during tapings of D&M in the late 70's. He was such a gentle, kindhearted man. Thank you George and Olive for having 9 wonderful children to follow in your footsteps!

Nathan's song is the greatest tribute a grandson could do for his grandfather. George will be greatly missed by all. Olive and George are in heaven together watching all their children and their children.

God Bless the Osmond Family!!!!

Is there any way that the Song could be put into a Media format, with both the Music AND the Words together, so all of us who never had a chance to hear it could then enjoy that experience?? I'm sure that there would be many others who have that same WISH! Perhaps the Osmonds would consider making a CD of it, along with some of their other songs, and then ADVERTISE it some place so we would know how to purchase it.
Thanks!

Our time on earth is so tender and wonderful when we come to cross pathways with sacred people like Brother Osmond and his posterity. I met them in my youth decades ago in Chicago and asked my Mom 'what is a Mormon?' Now as a grandmother and YW president in Idaho I look back to this kind family who shined their light into the darkest corners of the earth, and Brother Osmond who always had kinds words for the fans and his bride Olive who sent us Article of Faith cards. Now they have returned home to be together again. With thankful hearts, we express our love and prayers to the entire Osmond family from us who are now are growing our posterity out here far away in the west! Laura Lee Slocum of Ammon, Idaho
