What a wnderful story! I read it to my young son and he told me that he wants to be like Alex when he gets old enough to join the scouting program.
Thnaks for being such a good roll model Alex, and congratulations!
Congratulations Alex - you're a great example to others!
Way to go! It is great to see a young man set a lofty goal and better yet achieve it. Great accomplishment, way to stick with it and thanks for sharing.
WHAT A GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT NOT ONLY FOR THE 122 BADGES BUT THE 3.9 GRADEPOINT AVERAGE ALONG WITH IT. YOU ARE A VERY DEDICATED AND DETERMINED YOUNG MAN. YOU WILL GO FAR IN THIS WORLD. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR MISSION---IT WILL BE THE GREATEST THING TO HAPPEN TO YOU. HOPE YOU'VE SEEN "THE OTHER SIDE OF HEAVEN" OR READ THE BOOK BY ELDER GROBERG. IT WILL PREPARE YOU FOR ANYTHING THAT MAY HAPPEN ON YOUR MISSION.
Congrats, that is awesome.
Venturing is a division of scouting that continues after age 18, up to 21, so it doesn't have to stop right there. It has some really neat awards that not many people earn and are more difficult and time-consuming than Eagle Scout. Varsity Scouts also has some rare awards that aren't exceptionally difficult, but the program is less well known. If you're looking for a challenge, but don't think that earning all the MBs is right for you, work on the Ranger or Denali awards.
What a wonderful story, and what a great chap Alex must be.In the year that we celebrate 100 years of Scouting,it so refreshing to read a very positive story about the achievements of adolescents.Congratulations old chap.Dr.Stu..
I am so proud of you, Alex, for the time and effort you have put into the scouting program. You have achieved the goal you set for yourself soon after you started the scouting program. You have accomplished something that few young men ever accomplish and you succeeded while you were still 16 years old. I am very glad that you have now been honored for the goal you achieved over a year ago. You are a talented and honorable young man. I am proud to be your mom.

Alex, I've been hearing about you for several years from Dr. Jeff Labrum, a doctor I worked with at Cottonwood Hospital. He knew my son was working on a similar goal, and told me to watch the news, for eventually you would get them all. I was thrilled then, to see that you had reached your goal.
I sent the newspaper article to my son who is serving a mission in California. My son's email today asks for your address so that he may write to you personally and offer his congratulations. My son is Dallin Manning, one of the scouts mentioned in the article. He earned 121 badges last year, and knows the work involved in such an accomplishment. (He struggled mightily with Bugling as well!) If you would like to email me your address, I'll send it on to my son so that he can write to you personally.
Heartfelt congratulations to you and your support team for this amazing accomplishment.
