Patata Brava: I agreee with your comment. Why would we ever want to put an
impeached President anywhere even close to the Whitehaouse again? Keep in mind
that only two (2) Presidents have ever been impeached in our nations history,
and people want to possibly put Billary back in there? Does NOT make any sense!
If you feel the the desire to vote Democrat...vote for Bill Richardson. He seems
ALOT more down to earth, and REAL!

A hit! Not! If he were on the ballout for even the PTA he wouldn't get 20%
of the vote statewide. In liberal niches he does fine but don't say with a
straight face he is a hit in Utah. His moral authority doesn't even
register above zero, it goes to show that liberals and the press that supports
them, can say anything and at least some people will believe it but thankfully
this State still remembers what the Clintons are like.

It is interesting, He never once campaigned in the state of Utah during his term
as president (except the time he made an appearence in Park City just before
the end of his presidency) Now he has come to build up hillary's treasure.

To give an answer to the above statement. Since when does a person have to
have passed any major legislation to become president of this country. Who
was George Bush when he became pres. He had only been in Washington when his
Father was Pres. I voted for the First Bush and the 2nd Bush but I certainly
would not have voted for the last one if I had known what he was going to do
for our Great Country. Get us into WAR and make the world hate Americans
because of his ego and stubbornness. He and cheney , to me , ( a person who
has lived through the depression, wars and now the Bush presidency,) they are
the worst Presidency we have ever had . I have voted for all of the Repulicans
since I have been old enough to vote. But I certainly wish I could take my vote
back on George Bush and Cheney.

Thank you Patata Brava for your excellent comments and ideas. Having the
Clintons back in the White House is a pretty scary proposition. And I, too,

The only thing Bill ever did for Utah was hideout at the Grand Canyon in
Arizona(to scared to show his face in Utah) and Blind-sided us with another
useless Utah National Monument! We all know that the Grand Stair Case National
Monument sits on top of one of the Largest Utah Coal Reserves! Man, he really
helped Utah's economy! We're all crazy if we think tourism will fill
that loss!

Is he serious...did Bill Clinton actually say she would render bipartisan
support as President? Let me think, when Bill Clinton was in the middle of a
major scandal which included lying before a grand jury about serious sexual
allegations made towards him (the most serious of which were never really
investigated, incuding rape and sexual assault - see Kathleen Willey and Juanita
Broderick). His wife stated that it was all a part of a "vast right wing
conspiracy". She has also divided the country so much that 50% of the
population has stated they would not vote for her under any circumstances.
Republicans in congress cannot stand her.
She has never had to be responsible for a payroll or meet a budget of any significance. Listen to what she is saying she wants to do...there is no way on earth we could pay for it, and more taxes just kills the economy which in turn lowers tax revenue. It would take us years to recover from her with just 4 years at the helm.

think she is an exceptionally bright woman (the poster above who said they
can't think of anything she has done as a Senator is incredibly ill
informed) and i would support her candidacy if after the process she prevailed.
but the best part would be listening to the utahn blow a gasket. The sheer hate of the uninformed right wing conservatives in this state -- in spite of their immoral, failed policies of the last seven years -- leaks into every thing that happens in this state.
One only need to look at the joke of the Utah Legislature to see how prevalent this is.

Dear G.T Grandma, I say you would think the same of Abraham Lincoln. Apparently
you feel that allowing Muslim fanatics to blow us up is okay and have not heard
at all their avowed threat to kill All Americans, even you. Don't blame
George Bush for the feelings towards Americans. I felt that in France in 1963
and in many parts of Germany from 1961 -63 even though we kept the communists at
bay. What you and many others refuse to believe is that there are people who
hate us because we have what they are unwilling to work for. They want it
without having to go through the efforts.
My problem with the Clinton's is their arrogance toward the American People. When I look at pictures of them and can get a clear picture of their eyes I see nothing but evil. They aren't the only ones that I see this evil in, but it isn't Bush. Bush has had to face problems no other American President has ever had to face. The European Leaders failed with Hitler and their pacifist attitude. They will fail again against Muslim fanatics. Start understanding history, not just reading it.

I think the only comment needed here is "hacuna patata" which
translates into "stay the course". Is that really want? Have you
looked at who is running on the Republican side recently? The words

I heard a lady on the news last night say she has always respected Bill
Clinton...???? What?
Respected...and Adulterer? A man who desecrated the White House? A man who lied under oath? A man who smoked Pot, but never inhaled? A man who, like Hilary or not, made a public mockery of the marriage vows/covenant? Resepects a man who ignored all the terrorist activity that led our Nation to where it is now? That someone else had to clean up the messes ten years later?
Hilary? Not once iota of experience leading anyone...not more than 14 people, whom she now has under her. A woman that lied and supported a husband that deceived her too? All to maintain her own chance at some power. Hilary? A woman that was laughed out of position by even her own party and the Republicans for her ridiculous approach to health care when slick willy was president?
She says she has always dreamed of fighting for children...what? Someone who always fights for children dedicates their life to children...she has dedicated her life to positioning herself for power...that's it.

But if she takes away our lively hood, (Coal Mining and Power Plants) with Big
National Monuments, then yes, we may have to blow a BIG GASKET! Carbon, Emery,
Wayne, Seiver, Garfield counties will all suffer!

I will continue to try however, when Ronad Reagan took over as President of the US(after 4 failed years under Jimmy Carter), he lowered the tax rate,in some cases by as much as half. This created incentives in the economy which created jobs and major increases in net taxable income (look at IBM's taxable income under Carter vs Reagan). Reagan doubled...yes I said doubled tax revenue by lowering taxes. There now I feel better! But no for the record (scary liberal) I don't want to borrow money from China, but nice try.

We are not mortaged to the hilt. Any financial statement must contain, assets
and liabilities, income and outgo. We are in great shape financially, endless
assets and excellent cash flow. Now taxes can suffocate that but not kill it.
Taxes affect motivation and movement of money. Will people sit on it or invest
it? (The velocity of money) Money put to work means jobs and prosperity.
Let's see, Bill and Hilary get lots of money from Chinese, Bill tried to
sell Long Beach harbor to the Chinese. Liberals are blocking the develop of
nuclear and exploration and development of our own oil. China and others are
drilling for oil off our coasts, Russia planted a flag at the bottom of the
ocean in the Artic in our neck of the woods. Go right on hanging with these
folks, they somehow speak to your world view. Shades of Jimmy Carter, Americans
need to sacrifice. I expect I will be able to fend for myself when it's
dark and cold. How about you?

minority, a very small minority. Remember this is the same man that made half of
sounthern Utah a National monumnet without confering with the governor of the
state. In fact he even denied that he was working towards that end. This is a
bad man with bad motives and no scruples. In addition he's the one who
started the campain to remove Sadaam Hussein becasue he had "weapons of
mass destruction". That was his very argument to bomb a
"pharmacy". Does this ring a bell to anyone?

I can't wait to have a woman as president...Hillary is the best choice for
a country that is trillions of dollars in debt because the second Bush is trying
to finish what the first Bush started. And Osama is still on the loose! Also,

Secondly, Hillary is not a democrat she is a "progressive" - her new term for Socialist. Maybe you don't get your own party. There are two democrats. The old-school Southern Democrat which are American-value democrats (which our Jim Matheson would fall under-he is a good man and mostl would agree is working hard for our state). Then there are the New-England Social Democrats (which Hillary leads that class of democrat). It is this class of democrat that has clearly stated their intention to socialize America. I am sorry, but I have lived in Europe and if I wanted socialism, I would have stayed there.

Hey, Racer...what religion am I. I do not consider my spirituality to be an
issue here, I actually have not been to a church for probably 25 years, although
I do admit that I get down on my knees and thank god for what I have, and ask
for his guidance and blessings...have great respect and love for all people
regardless of religious affiliation tend to look at the individual not the
building they go into on sunday or other mass groupings that people tend to heap
on others. I like a previous poster have a great deal of respect for southern
democrats would even consider voting for Joe Lieberman, now there is someone

Socializer - I don't want to make any assumptions here, but have you ever
lived in a country with a real socialized system of government...everyone is
poor...and the tax revenue is such that no one really gets taken care of. There
is no real incentive for anything, and health care...you are kidding me right,
and don't give me Scandanavia, germany and denmark or Canada...please. One
of my good friends is from Germany, it is killing them. Do I think we need to
come up with real solutions to our current system...sure, but come on. I have
lived under socialized programs myself, please. You take incentive out of our
economy and continue to 'share the wealth' (so to speak, it should be
share the loss of wealth) and increase taxes, and our economy will tank,
countries will pass us by like we are standing still...and then you can wave at

president cannot, nor did he alone make the decision to go to war. The decision
to go to war was congress'. And guess who has voted for everything Iraq war
since it began...Hillary Clinton! She recently voted against funding our troops
in Iraq with new weapons, etc that are sure to save lives. She then turned
around and said that she cares about our troops more than Bush, despite her
action that could've caused their deaths!
And for those who believe Bush doesn't care, Thanksgiving 2003 when it was significantly dangerous to fly over hostile territory, he risked his life to go to Iraq and meet the troops and spent hours with them, simply thanking each and every one of them. People can say a lot about Bush, but he does care.

is that Racer is grouping people that are conservative as thinking from a
religious standpoint, my point was that I don't group people that way, in
fact it is a form of bigotry, and as MLK said "judge people on the content
of their character not the color of their skin"...and I would add (no
offense to Martin Luther King) their religious beliefs. Are you saying that
only those with no real religious beliefs can truly think for themselves? We
should leave it up the atheists..agnostics? Not sure what you are trying to
say.

If we're ready for a woman president, how about one with MORALS? One with
management experience, who isn't so stupid that she "loses" legal
documents in her own bedroom (or, rather, who doesn't think that WE are so
stupid as to believe that story)!

It's so sad to see how divided americans are just because of two people.
I'm not american but I've learned to love this nation that was home
for almost 20 years. Most of you probably haven't lived outside of the US
but as a foreigner I can tell you that all who hate you or your nation
doesn't hate it because of GWB. They hate it because of what your nation
stands, which is freedom and it may sound crazy but that's true. People
from countries where they want to rule without rules like Castro, Chavez, Evo
Morales the Hitler's of our time. But most of you can't see that
because the only reality you know is yours What happened Sept. 11 was extremely
sad, but I can assure you that if Pres.Bush doesn't fight where he is
fighting now you'll have all those car bombings right where you live.
I've experienced terrorism first hand and that's why I moved to USA. I
love that saying "One Nation under God" and for your sake and your
love ones I hope America remains that way. the destruccion of a family or a
nation comes from within first. Remember that.

Yes, you are right there are lots of different types of Democrats, but Hillary
is one. There are also lots of different types of Repulicans. I was talking to
the ones that can't seem to see that the right-wing Republicans have
problems. If you are not one of those...great! I hope that the others will be
able to live in the real world when their type of world comes crashing down.

As a Republican, I have to say that I am 99% disolusioned with the GOP. GW Bush
and his cabinet have been a total and complete disaster. They have carelessly
involved us in a never ending "Vietnam style" war in Iraq that has
taken nearly 4000 of our bravest and highest trained miliary personel with
little comprehesion of the consequences. The dollar cost of this ugly war is
beyond comprehension and the negative impact to our ability to fight the
"real war on terror" has been devastating. The economy is shrinking
due to Bush's "out source jobs to India" support. Social Security
has been left in a heap of garbage with no long term solution in site and health
care is out of reach for more and more Americans. If Mit Romney were electable
then my vote would go there however because of the propaganda of the far right
extremists in the GOP Mit's nomination will never happen. It is TIME FOR A
CHANGE. I never thought I would say this but Hilary gets my vote!!!!

Hillary has no executive experience. I cannot think of any major legislation that she has pushed through as a Senator. Election through celebrity is a terrible way to conduct a republic. Hillary's campaign to become president just seems like a backhanded way to get Bill back in the White House. We have historical precident and a Constitutional Amendment to prevent that. There is much more talent in this country than those two families.
