I just bought a new orchid and it has a tag on it telling you to add an ice cube to water it. I'd never heard of this idea before. It has plastic wrapped around the pot. I don't know if they are suggesting you leave the plastic around it or what. I do have some other orchids, but don't really have expertise. I have never been able to get a profuse blooming out of them with reblooming. I have had single blooms at a time. Is that a light factor also? Are they not getting enough light? Mine are in a west facing window and I spray water on them several times a day, water them every other week. Am I doing the right thing?
