He got the idea for child brides in 2000, he planned Elizabeth Smart's kidnapping in November 2001, he spent months preparing his hideouts in the hills behind her home, and after he kidnapped her in June 2002 he tied her to a tree with a wire cable and sexually assaulted her several times, then a few months later he disguised her and took her out in public, telling people she was his daughter. He held her hostage for nine months and a week, abusing her in untold ways, and after he was arrested in March 2003 he told his lawyer that he considered Elizabeth his wife and that the kidnapping was(in his own little midget mind)a "call from God". All of that shows that he knew exactly what he was doing and that he knew it was wrong. He just doesn't care. He is a monster. Stop the pandering, put him on trial, and put him in prison where he belongs.
