Is the Deseret News so afraid of David Lifferth that they won't post any of the comments made about this article????
will the proposed ordinance apply to those already in office? will the one who was overpayed by $262 in oct 06 but did not pay it back until the city formally demanded it back in jan 07 be subject to the same scrutiny? will em city code and state laws be evenly enforced finally in em?
it is not against the law or a criminal act to have filed a bankruptcy. a traffic ticket is not an indicator of ability or willingness to serve in public office.
there is a vast difference between being accused of something and being convicted. strouse has not had her day in court. so those who are continually abusing her in the media and online are going to have at least egg on their face when she is acquitted. maybe eagle mountain betrayal is a good place to research the documents posted online and read the rest of the story! amazing how lifferth is allowed to have his url in the story but no body else can have one in the comments. so much for balanced and unbiased reporting.
I find it ironical the everyone believes someone who is no more believeable than the people he accuses and is the only one who seems to have all this information, bringing it to the forfront. He is always patting himself on the back and I wonder how much the phrase, "thou do'st protest too much" applies to him.
