What is it about Utah that makes porn attractive? Utah seems to be the only state were I read about this problem.
This has nothing to do with Utah, except perhaps that we have a very activist attorney general who has made it his personal goal to get rid of the problem, so perhaps the fight against porn is a bit more visible here than in some places. If anything, it's much worse elsewhere, because some "open" communities seem to treat it as acceptible.
Having lived and visited other countries where porn is much more prevalent even than in the US, I can tell you it's absolutely devastating to families and communities. And this has nothing to do with religious morals -- it's a societal plague, not a "sin".
Anonymous, Perhaps you only read about the problem of porn in Utah because you're living in Utah! Duh! It's actually an international plague that is destroying individuals and families in it's wake. Not a pretty sight, the carnage of abandoned children, abused wives, and all too often sexually abused children. Anyone who thinks this stuff is harmless in this day and age of research still has his head in the sand.
