Utah volunteers at work offering relief to Southern California fire victims

How wonderfusl to see people giving of the time and energy to help others. Good for you Ann and John. Keep up the good work. We want you to stay in Provo. Hope the job here at UVSC will give you that opertunity.

Watching this unfold has been painful. It reminds me of how blessed Californians are. We moved what would be equal to one third of Utah's populous. We proved that reverse 911 works. Then, form local governments up to federal can work together with good planning. We showed that California's first reponders here are second to none. Where but in California are emergency personnel daily dealing with anything from a car fire to saving surfers from hunger great white sharks? We deal with earthquakes, wild fires, floods, rip tides, storm waves, landslides and cats suck in palm trees. Living anywhere else would be too dull. QUALCOMM Stadium is vastly different from New Orleans. People are feed, dogs are walked and kids have clowns entertaining them. One family said there was too much food. When things get down are Californian are helpless to change events, they make a party out of it.

Now maybe people will believe there really are angels walking here on Earth.
This is what happens when people work together when emergencies hit. Thank you to everyone for helping and may the Lord bless you all.
We have been praying for the families and hope the fires are out soon. I will always remember the Scout motto "Be prepared". It pays off especially when unexpected events occur in our lives.

Thanks to those who volunteer both for the fires in CA, or problems elsewhere. Thanks also for those who volunteer for a number of things at home as well.

To often we think of an organization and fail to recognize the unselfish time a resources expended by individuals. I am sure each will be blessed for all the volunteer work they do, but until that time THANKS AGAIN !
