I remember the "good old days" up until about late 80's. You could just buy
your license, and hunt wherever, whenever in the season.
Then along
came special stamps, fees, "drawing", etc. and you could only hunt in a certain
place on certain days, if your hair was a certain color. (OK, I'm exaggerating
a little)
It just got to be too much of an expensive hassle. That's
why my family doesn't hunt anymore. Took all the joy out of it...
