Thanks for a great article bringing the pleasures of carp angling to the
forefront. Carp angling in america is a time honored sport spanning many many
years here in the states . It includes "low tech" methods and the newer to the
states "high tech " european methods. Either way, carp fishing is a blast and
while I am a multi specie angler too I can tell you it is much more exciting
than many other types of angling. I would love to have you join us at one of
our events so you can see first hand the power and glory of what Izaak Walton
called the "queen of the river", and in fisherman called "the greatest American
Sportfish"

Stick to your bass and trout, Leave the carp to us that love to catch and
release them to catch again. Just kidding you, try it some time with a carp
fisherman. Why limit yourself to small fish. They have been here for a long time
why not make use of them, They are not as esey to catch as some people
think.
Thanks for the positive article on carp fishing. It's good you looked at a side
of carp fishing that several others overlook. The equipment for carp really is
advanced...there is no way I could understand it after just a short time...but
it sure looks cool :)
A sincere "thank you" for a positive article on carp fishing. It is pretty
obvious that you work hard on presenting the facts just as they are. Very good
job. Again, thank you!

Saw the article and figured I would post. I fish all types of fish and after
catching and fighting one of these bad boys you will think twice. Just like a
bass there is a whole technique and endless knowledge to learn about catching
this specie of fish. Its not as simple as throwing in a line and hoping for a
bite. Like said above if you see an event or fish in stop by and check out
another awesome specie of fish and really get to enjoy what they have to offer.
They are really fun to catch and makes for a fun day of fishing. I wish more
people were like you and this article and would not overlook carp as a great
sportfish. COme try it out!
awsome article and thanks for the exposure to the worlds greatest sport fish.if
you ever get the chance grab a can of corn and head to your favorite lake,i
promise you wont be disapointed in the great power of these hard fighting
fish!!

Yes an except for that whole carp an invasive species thing and the arrest of
David Moore in Oklahoma for stocking carp in public lakes it is a great way to
spend time.
Nice article Ray!!.;-)
Cheers,
David Moore aka "X-Bassfisherman"
