I just happen to be a stake high councelor and my ward speaking assignment in September was on--guess what??--tithing and offerings. I live in Texas and one of the points I made was that Malachi's promise did not necessary include great wealth or winning the Texas Lotto Jackpot. I wish that I had this article available when preparing for my talk.
