Hey, I back Romney too, how come there's not a story about me?

lj

In the last presidential election one of the big complaints about john Kerry was how he flip flopped his views on the Irag war. Mitt Romney has flipped his views on abortion not once but twice.

Thats a good one! But something tells me you don't have the ability to influence tens of thousands of votes in the Bible Belt. Jones has that sort of influence. His support could make it possible for Mitt to win elections in the Southeast.

Romney was more attractive to me when he wasn't aligned with the Evangelical base.

John

Romney used to be a good candidate until all his moderate views became right wing evangelical views. I wish that he would stop courting the evangelicals and run on the same values that he had as the govenor of Mass. It's a shame that I can no longer vote for him.

Romney may be a flip flopper but at least he is flopping in my direction! Kerry did not. Romney has my vote even though according to Jones he is a heathen cult member who is probably going to hell. The problem with Jones and his ilk is that he believes in a doctrine that was created and written in 325 AD while Mormons follow the true Christian doctrine as written in the New Testament and preached by Paul.

I get tired of hearing Romney is a flip flopper. Flip flopping means changing your mind and changing it back again. Romney changed his mind once. That is perfectly acceptable to me. I believe in repentance.

Go back to school (other than BYU) and get a real education on Christian history. Neither Evangelical nor Catholic nor Orthodox Christianity were "created and written in 325 AD." They were created when Jesus ministered in the flesh. Many believers had somewhat different interpretations of what God's condescension meant. But there is no way you have a good argument that the LDS teach what Paul preached! That is the equivalent of saying that Romney believes the same as Hilary Clinton!

I'm sorry, I just read the headline. Is this the resurrected Rev. Jim Jones who is backing Romney? Oh, that would make sense...
