What an odd way to begin a book review--does it really happen often in Utah? How
often is "so often"? Is it more than anywhere else? I guess I'm just out of
touch. Having said that, ONCE is TOO often, and the family trauma caused by such
a tragedy is unimaginable. Just the thought of it is enough to make me want to
read the book.
Please know that 50 children are backed over in the US every WEEK. Forty-eight
end up in hospital emergency rooms; and at least two children die EVERY week.
I have read the book... it is well written and thought provoking. It applies to
all people, whether LDS or not, parents or not -- but I think those who are LDS
and parents will find it all the more appealing. A great book to discuss in a
review group.
This was a hard book to read, especially as a parent, but worth it in the end.
Real life is full of stories like this. On the news we hear only of the tragedy
but this story continues on to share the healing process that I hope all real
victims may be blessed to come to.

Before you turn the key; make sure you can see.
50 a week, huh? Maybe Darwin was right...
mostly SUVs killing them, stupid SUVs.
however rear view camers are becoming more common, that is good, they should be required in the stupid SUVs.
