Because numerous studies show that women are just as likely to use violence as men are but the men are much less likely to report it.
And the cops are 100% less likely to arrest the woman anyway.
I've worked for over eleven years with single heads of households (mostly women) and our situations are very similar. If someone had followed up or had presented my husband with a threat of jail or anger management/counseling, I do think we would be married and that the abuse would have stopped if he had to account for his behavior.
Please push this program along. Lives are at stake.

It's reform of domestic violence (DV) industry (UDVC) and politics needed most:
Fact: Males commit the least dating violence. Men and fathers commit the least spouse abuse, least child abuse and least child murders of their own children. MOST DV INJURIES AND DEATHS TO WOMEN result from women being primary DV initiators and attackers who don't let up, with additional abuse assistance from UDVC, politicians and "justice" system, until retaliation and tragedy result (Nikitina, Ragsdale, et. al...).

Studies reveal that men sustain more DV injuries than women, according to both the women and men in those studies. Men's DV injuries go unreported, even very serious injuries, as instructed and mandated by UDVC to medical and justice system personnel whom they indoctrinate.
Teaching truth really helps reduce DV, DV injuries and DV deaths. But, Ned Searle and Judy Casten-Bell (UDVC) are violently opposed to truth helping men, women, and esp children. How can they profit and grow from truth and real success?
