A link to Ralph's site but not for Buhler's? The local media in this town is like watch Sesame Street. What a circus your bias creates.

Ralph, don't be so upset that Buhler actually has an opinion on the environment. Come on now, let's follow the pleadings of every environmentalist's savior Al Gore: the environment is not a partisan issue. Get over it.

It seems as though the Des News is a step behind on reporting the details of the mayoral race. Dave Buhler has now had three press conferences since the primary election and the News doesn't report on them until 2-3 days later. As citizens, we have a right to know what these candidates are saying! The election is soon and we can't all attend everything to stay up to date. That's why I read the paper!

However, the local TV stations seem to be even worse! Here we have an upcoming election with far reaching results and no one reports on what major candidates are saying until days after it happens!

I don't think Becker was upset that Buhler had an opinion on the environment. Becker was upset that Buhler lied about Becker's record of accomplishment and committment to environmental issues.

I think it's great that Dave has taken a stance on environmental issues. Protecting the environment isn't a partisan issue, just like this isn't a partisan race.
