I love Java Jo's! I can't start my morning anywhere else, it is absolutely the best in the city!
L'astelier is, by far, the only true European style coffee house in Salt Lake. The ambience is like nothing else I've seen. I was almost intimidated by the style at first, but the employees have actually been really nice every time I've gone in. And it's so warm and cozy at night with all of the candle light and comfy couches. Mmm..and the quiche and sticky buns are wonderful.
Hello, I enjoyed this article very much. My second cousin, Paul Hayes, or perhaps he goes by Paul Olson, I can't remember - but he owns the Cafe or Caffe Express coffee shops in Salt Lake. I know there is one on 9th East and 9th South, one by 33rd South and on Highland Drive and one in West Jordan, and I believe two more. He has done very well with this business and these shops have been successful for him too. They have very good coffee too! Thank you, Sue Ann Abbott from Pleasant Grove, Utah
I moved from Salt Lake several years ago but still miss my Java Jo's mochas with the chocolate covered espresso bean on top. Java Jo's rocks - the coffee is great, but equal praise should go to the energy, friendliness and good humor of its owners and staff.
I miss the Coffee Garden. The new location is as good or better than the old 9th & 9th one and one cannot beat the prices for espresso-based beverages that Utah provides (and this is coming from someone that now lives in Seattle!).
