Why does the press continue to pick at this wound? Give AK a break and report on the basketball team. The action of the press only make them look bad. Like wolves trying to create more to a story then there is.
"We'll see. Definitely. I will try to do my best."
Good enough for me Mr. AK - Seems like even the well bashed Mr Sloan is moving towards being more complimentary of the players. A great, competitive, and fun season lies ahead. I wish the TEAM well.
Jimmy now counts 5 consecutive days that there has been an article mentioning Hornacek as AK's personal shooting coach. Is this the only story in Jazz camp this year?
MOVE ON MEDIA!!! This story should be the last one written on the subject unless AK decides to go public again. I would much rather read about how the Jazz are doing and what we can expect to see as fans, not about if AK is leaving or still emotionally scarred...anyway, enough is enough...this has become a boring topic.
Cousin doesn't see where this article mentions Hornacek as AK's coach. Cousin like approach of Sloan and AK. Jazz do well. Cousin likes Jazz'z chances to win many games. Go Jazz
Sports news is slow if your covering the Jazz. IF the Jazz won't give a good story the media have to try and create it. The majority of the news we receive, whether "real" news or sports news is just the media trying to make something out of nothing. It's never about truth, it's just about money.
I'm tired of this story. And I'm tired of the childish behavior of AK. I thought the interview with Tom Kirkland, a while back, just went around in circles. What has happened to the fact that you have a boss (Sloan) and you play and do what he says. I guess those days are gone. Let's get on with the game, shut your mouth and do your best. Hopefully, AK and all the other players will put it behind them and do just that. Go JAZZ!
For the love of Jimmy, please move on, how about a story on Hart, Price or Almond? Three guys we know nothing about. Evan the annual list of tractors that Sloan owns and new ones he purchased during the offseason is better than the mindless rehash!
Granted it is early but I am seeing a pretty remarkable thing this first week - both Sloan and AK making a real effort to compromise. Can it stick? Probably depends on numbers (for AK) and wins (for Sloan). I really liked the way AK looked at the last Boise practice. After the game I took my son to get a high five from AK and I said something like we are all hoping you stay. He looked at me and said "this is where I want to be - with the Jazz." We'll see but let's at least give AK and Sloan some kudos for a good first week.
AK Just Play BALL and we will all be happy not everybody likes sloan but he knows how to win and winning is what we want to see GO JAZZ
Jimmy's sneaker's friend BJ "Jazzy" Rasta, is also very tired of hearing about Kirilenko. Everything will be evident once the games begin. Hopefully Andre will figure out how to be a team guy and we can start as strong as we did last year. Jazzy would like to have stories written about other players as well. How bout a story about Ronnie Price's getting into the NBA after he went udrafted three years ago? Stories like his are inspiring rather than the annoying Kirilenko story.
We all like the Jazz, but I think most are annoyed listening to 3rd person Jimmy and his few followers. They are problably all the same person. They need to get a life, and let's bring them on our Utah Jazz. The Jazz will improve, but they will need to become more consistent from last year. Boozer was the only player that was consistent every game last year. D Will was good most but he did't show up to all the games. When they become more consistent the Jazz will become legitimate contenders. Go Jazz, and find something better to do Jimmy's clan.
Jimmy watches too much Seinfeld! news flash-the jimmy character was a fool on the show and on the d-news sports posts....
jimmy crack corn and I don't care!
GO JAZZ!!! 50+ WINS OR BUST!
gotta love the Seinfeld quotes...
It's even funnier that you speak in 3rd person!!!
LOVE IT!!!
Now everybody sees who's really wants AK out. D-Will!!! only he has much negative comment. Only time will tell who is real D-Will. I like how he plays but never like his attitude.
AK FAN and Smack Talk, I am extremely offended by your comments, especially Smack Talks. Dwill is a good guy, and deffinately not racist. I dont think Dwill wants AK out, I just think he wants things resolved. It is upsetting to have a star member of your team complaining about it. I would be like that too.
The racist card? You're playing the racist card? Really? You're sinking that low? Isn't Boozer white? Or darn close? Isn't Memo white? Isn't Harpring white? And let's face it, D-Will ain't exactly straight up African himself. Get a life Smack Talk. You too AK FAN. And learn some English.
Kirilenko is the best player on the Jazz. He will have a great year. He would have a better year playing with Nash in Phoenix.
I like D-Will's attitude. He's a tough kid with a no B.S. demeanor and passes the ball to those who can actually shoot it. (AK-47 was not one of those guys last year. Let's see if he can pick it up this year with a couple pointers from Hornacek.)
AK will just have to live with being the fourth option on offense.. I think he got hypnotized by the success of his Russian team...Then reality struck him with a large case of the walkin, talkin' NBA $60million dollar "OH NO's". He's the fourth option because he's the fourth best scorer on the floor most of the time....with or without pats on the head from Sloan. He's like the worlds best piccolo player who's Jonesing to play first violin...
