dignity, and knowledge of the Gospel.
I'm sure that the Lord had a hand in the selection process and is well pleased.
I'm sure the Lord is also pleased with the selection of Elder Cook and Elder Gonzalez too!!
God Bless...
May God continue to bless our Church leaders. Especially at this time Elder Wirthlin.
I was in the car listening, and didn't see it. The smile of Pres. Eyring was worth finding this story. I am worried about E. Wirthlin. I could hear the change in his voice. Hurried, and not as stable.
I knew President Eyring would be a GA some day after having been a student on the Ricks College campus where President Eyring was the president. I grew to love that man. I saw him interact with the students. He enjoyed and loved them. He even taught classes at the college. He talked on the student's level, not above them. What a great, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, humble, personable man.
In answer to your question: yes
There is a background of all the General Authorities in the NEWSROOM on the church web site.
On another note, it was wonderful to watch Elder Nelson's tender concern and care for Elder Wirthlin as he stood by, supporting and comforting him while he finished his talk. I also believe, along with Cari, that he is not long for this world. His sweetheart is waiting for him, and I'm sure he longs to be with her. We are so blessed to have such powerful, yet humble, leaders to follow.
I so appreciate even more the power of revelation and for my own ability to be in tune for personal revelation. I wanted some information on President Eyring to do a spotlight on his life at a Senior retirement center Relief Society meeting tonight. That you so much for the article, it is so perfect for what I needed.
